The Honey Journey:
From Beekeeper to Table
As we established our production, we drew from the expertise of Ukraine’s foremost honey producers and exporters, benefiting greatly from their experience and, crucially, learning from their missteps.
At the heart of our production lies our state-of-the-art laboratory for assessing the quality of incoming raw materials. This facility is equipped with precise instrumentation to gauge antibiotic levels in the honey,
complemented by a team of highly skilled professionals.
Allow us to outline the production cycle:
1 | Sourcing and Traceability: Procurement Process
2 | Quality Assurance: Advanced Laboratory Analysis
3 | Decrystallization Process: Refining Nature’s Sweetness
4 | Homogenization for Consistency and Quality
5 | Packaging and Export Preparation: Finalizing Production
Sourcing and Traceability: Procurement Process
Procuring Natural Bee Honey:
We procure natural bee honey directly from the producer (beekeeper), provided they present all the necessary documentation.
This ensures traceability of the product’s origin from manufacturer to consumer. For export purposes, company obtains origin confirmation documents: the EUR1 certificate for export to Europe, and Certificate A (Certificate of Origin).
Quality Assurance:
Advanced Laboratory Analysis
Quality Control through Laboratory Analysis: Upon gathering the necessary amount for processing, company initiates laboratory analysis of the honey to assess its physicochemical parameters and antibiotic levels.
Equipped with a laboratory, the company subjects all raw materials to initial testing, with honey of insufficient quality returned to beekeepers.
Decrystallization Process:
Refining Nature’s Sweetness
Decrystallization Process:
After initial analysis, honey containers undergo controlled heating in chambers at 40-42 degrees Celsius for 2-4 days.
This process reverses natural crystallization, resulting in a smooth, liquid consistency suitable for further processing. Decrystallization ensures honey retains its nutritional properties and delicate flavor while preparing it for homogenization, maintaining uniformity and quality in the final product.
Homogenization for Consistency and Quality
Following heating, the raw materials are transferred to a heated receiver unit and then pumped into a 21-ton homogenizer.
Here, the honey undergoes meticulous blending until achieving uniform texture and composition
This process ensures consistent taste, texture, and nutritional properties throughout the batch. Lasting a minimum of 12 hours, homogenization guarantees the high quality of our honeyproducts.
Packaging and Export Preparation: Finalizing Production
After homogenization, our organic Ukrainian polyfloral bee honey is packaged in food-grade barrels, each holding 200-215 liters with a net weight of 290-300 kg.
We use only pure, natural honey in our production process, strictly prohibiting any impurities.
Our production facilities and warehouses can process 8 to 16 batches per month, with each export batch weighing 20,650 kg.
